Elaine Hart is a visual artist based in Perth, Western Australia. Trained in fine art in the UK during the 1980s, she has called Australia home for more than 35 years, and in that time has developed a deep affinity for its flora and landscape.

Elaine is drawn to exploring different mediums and subjects, and her work moves freely between meticulously detailed depictions and more personal, expressive responses that capture the essence and mood of what she sees. Acrylics are her primary medium, though she also works in oils, watercolour, ink and pencil.

Commissions are a particular joy for Elaine. She loves working closely with clients to discover and distil the mood they wish to evoke, creating art that becomes a cherished possession or a heartfelt gift.
